Order processing

Live Awake Wax Studio processes orders in Langley City, BC, Canada from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The average time to process orders is of 1-2 working days.

Once an order of available products has been placed, no changes can be made to that order.

Orders placed separately will be shipped separately. Live Awake Wax Studio reserves the right to delay a shipment if the order cannot be shipped for reasons beyond Live Awake Wax Studio's control. Please note that there may be shipping delays during promotions and sales. 

    

Promo codes

Customers who have received a PROMO CODE through social networks or on compliant promotional websites or newsletters can enter the code during the purchase order on the check-out page. Each code has a start and end validity date which limits its use and cannot be extended.

It is specified that the "Free shipping" PROMO CODE represents in effect a discount on the product/products purchased; therefore in the event of a return, the value of the refund will be related to the paid value of the returned product, less the discount value represented by the Voucher itself.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY VIA COURIER

Shipping methods

Live Awake Wax Studio ships in Canada and U.S.A. via Canada Post.

In compliance with the international trade laws in force, the goods shipped are accompanied by an official receipt declaring the value expressed in Canadian Dollars of each individual item purchased and of the total of the goods.

   

Available goods

Orders for available goods, subject to confirmation of the availability of the items and verification of the bank transaction, are entrusted to the courier within 1-2 working days following receipt of the order.

Shipping delays may occur during promotions and sales.

All items are checked before being shipped.

    

Delivery time

Live Awake Wax Studio ships in Canada and U.S.A.  via Canada Post.

Live Awake Wax Studio cannot be held responsible for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, customs controls or other circumstances beyond the control of Live Awake Wax Studio.

Standard Delivery for shipments destined for Canada and USA is expected within 2-10 working days after the order has been entrusted to the courier.

Express Delivery for shipments destined for Canada and USA is expected within 1-5 working days after the order has been entrusted to the courier.

   

Shipping fees

Shipping costs are fixed.

For now, we ship only to Canada and the US

Orders will be processed in 1-2 working days.

Standard Shipping (2-10 business days): $7 

Express Shipping (1-5 business days): $14

Free standard shipping for Canada & US for orders over $75

Traceability of the shipment

Once the order has been entrusted to the courier, an e-mail notification will be issued by Canada Post providing the waybill number (AWB) relating to the order.

To monitor the progress of the shipment, you can visit the website Canada Post and enter the AWB number indicated in the e-mail in the "Track your Shipments" area.

By accessing the reserved area, in the Orders section, and clicking on each order, you can view the waybill number assigned.

       

Delivery of the package

Upon delivery of the goods, the package must be inspected carefully before signing the confirmation of receipt of the same.

The packages of Live Awake Wax Studio are carefully sealed with adhesive tape.

If the customer receives a box that has been opened by the Customs or Courier for authorized external inspections, the package must be closed with a guarantee or control seal by the inspection body.

If the package appears compromised or the original adhesive tape is not intact, the customer is requested to sign the receipt of the package with reserve or to refuse delivery of the same. In the event that there is evidence of tampering with the package, the customer is required to open a complaint with the local Canada Post office and to promptly contact Live Awake Wax Studio at the e-mail address laurel@liveawakewaxstudio.ca

In the event of a compromised package, if the customer does not sign the receipt with reserve, the delivery is considered automatically accepted and consequently, any subsequent complaints will not be accepted.

   

Delivery failure

All customers, by placing an order, establish a commercial relationship with Live Awake Wax Studio and undertake to accept the delivery of the package relating to their order. If a package is not delivered to the customer's address for reasons attributable to its lack of cooperation (incorrect/incomplete telephone number, incorrect/incomplete address, absent recipient) or if the customer refuses the delivery, the package is returned to the sender Live Awake Wax Studio in Langley City, BC, Canada. Shipping costs and any customs duties related to the automatic return of Canada Post to the sender are deducted/withheld.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS ABOUT ORDERS SHIPPED AND DELIVERED VIA COURIER

The customer can return the order, in whole or in part.

Return costs and eventual custom duties and export/import taxes are charged to the customer.

Items can only be returned per

- size change (if available); delivery costs for new dispatch are charged to the customer

- color change (if available); delivery costs for new dispatch are charged to the customer

- right of withdrawal

within 14 days from the date of receipt of the package, upon request via email to laurel@liveawakewaxstudio.ca.

The written request must contain the order number, the code of the item (s) to be returned and the reason for the return: right of withdrawal or change of size and/or color.

After submitting this request, the customer will receive an e-mail with the instructions to follow in order to make the return.

Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were originally sent.

Returns must be sent in the packaging box originally used by Live Awake Wax Studio.

Items must be returned with all original labels, wraps and other accessories (dustbag, clothing covers, etc.) received in the package.

Returned items must not have been worn, washed or altered in any way.

Accessories must be returned in their original packaging, which must not be damaged and altered or used as a packing box for shipping.

You can only ship your return from the address you used to place your order.

You can ship your return using a courier of your choice.

If your return does not meet the conditions listed, the package will be returned to you at your expense and the refund will not be made.

Items returned with damage, or any obvious modification will be rejected and sent back to the customer, who will be charged the normal shipping costs

In the event of defective or incorrect goods following an error made by Live Awake Wax Studio, you are asked to send an email to laurel@liveawakewaxstudio.ca, providing a description and photographic evidence proving the defect or error.

In these cases, if the defect or error is recognized, the shipping costs and any customs duties are charged to Live Awake Wax Studio.

   

Reimbursement:

The reimbursement of orders placed with a Debit or Credit card is returned to the original Debit or Credit card.

Reimbursement times depend on your credit card circuit.

Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the refunded amount are due to changes in the exchange rate and will not be refunded.

The value date of the re-credit is the same as the debit; consequently, no loss will be suffered in terms of bank interest.
